Disagreement with my local ALPA MEC
If I have a disagreement with a decision that has been made by my local ALPA MEC, is there a dispute solving mechanism or arbitration process that I can go to on a national level. I am referring to something that is done by ALPA itself on a national level, not by an outside party.
Thanks

If they haven't, you're better off trying to get some fellow pilots on board and forcing a change via a resolution or by electing new leadership (or even initiating a recall, which is not unheard of, but it isn't easy). If the C&BL have been violated, you can go to National, and they will guide you.
If your complaint is with the National Association, that is a whole different can of worms.

Your post is a bit unclear as to whether your target is actually the MEC, or if it's ALPA National. If you are talking about your MEC, then the key is whether or not the MEC has violated the Constitution and By-Laws.

Again, it depends. If the MEC did NOT violate the C&BL, National will simply tell you to work within the system to affect change, all the way up to and including a recall of the LEC reps, and then the MEC Officers.
If the MEC was acting in a manner that they argue that was in the best interest of the pilot group, you may not agree with their decision, which is your right. But, if the MEC DID violate the C&BL, the National will work with you to right the wrong, especially if it's egregious.
If it's just a policy decision that you disagree with, but not in violation of ALPA's By-Laws, National will take a very hands-off approach.
All of your "how to" answers are in the ALPA Constitution and By-Laws and the ALPA Administrative Manual, which are both on the ALPA website.
