Thumbs up Congratulations to the TMC Pilots!!!

Congratulations to the TMC Pilot pilot group!

I am so proud of you all standing up and fighting to make your section of the industry better and safer. 83 years ago, some other brave pilots stood up and fought for decades to create what is now known as "the Majors". Over a decade ago, Netjets pilots also stood up.

It wasn't easy for them, and it won't be easy for you, but nothing worthwhile ever is. Someday, a pilot who follows behind you will say "thanks" for making a making their career better because of your actions. At the very least, your Management and other management have had an eye opener. Times are changing, and the pendulum is swinging pilots' way again. 20 years ago, the regionals were charging $16,000 in FSI training to work at their respective companies: Now, they are offering $5000 starting bonuses and Envoy is offering CFI's benefits until they reach ATP mins. In other words, now is the time to look forward, not back, just like you all are doing with this gutsy move.

Bottom Line: Look to the pilots who have the best pay, benefits, schedule, safety, retirement, QOL, etc., or whatever category you choose and you will find a UNION.... Conversely, look to any do-it-or-your-fired, run-out-of-a-trailer scumbag 135 company, and you will find their pilots UNREPRESENTED.

Finally TMC Pilots, please beware of Management's last ditch efforts to change your mind on voting for the Union: If you trusted them, you wouldn't have come this far in the union certification process. Beware of the free Hooters Hot Wing parties thrown by the union-busting law firm Ford and Harrison. The Company has probably spent at least $500,000 to retain them or a similar firm, which is standard practice for companies who stumble their way into a union election. This is usually proof that they don't intend to follow through on their empty threats of shutting down if the union is certified. But beware of the new found hugs and kisses and free Hooters wings, because if the vote failed the beatings will resume and the would-be organizers recurrent check rides get tougher. Ask the Evergreen pilots about their former CEO's anti-union banquets... When the union vote failed, he took the food home early with him..

Congratulations again on your first steps toward a contract!

STAY STRONG TMC PILOTS! A worse contract for the aircraft you fly and the schedule you keep I have never seen.... Simply embarrassing and pathetic. Vote that union IN....
