Default UAL and Frontier

Ual will buy Frontier to expand Denver with Airbus metal due to restrictions on the 737-8/9
They need their current aircraft/orders and their already trained pilots

I think is a win win

PS :before you ask, JetBlue and spirit will be next

Is this a guess, wishful thinking, or fact?

No.

The limitations on the 737 have been taken care of with the flaps 5 go around.

Not going to happen.

Since we're speculating here, I'm going to speculate that UAL does not need FNT for their airplanes or pilots. Both are readily available without having to buy a whole airline.

In addition, UA has nearly 200 new 737s arriving in the next few years. It would be insanely simple to concentrate the existing UA Airbuses in DEN if it were that critical of an issue. (And that's not even counting the used A319s that UA is picking up from China and Spirit.)

Now that Frontier is ALPA it makes the SLI all that much more fun. Even more DEN pilots will be complaining.

If they do, they will be 5-7 years too late. FRNT could have been had for a song back then.

If they do, it will be yet another in a LONG list of "coulda-shoulda's, and "why the hell did they" from the crack teams at UA.

Therefore, it's likely. Bonus's all around Willis.

As a general rule. It's best to not post while intoxicated.

While we're at it maybe we could give them all 89 Senority so they will all feel at home in DEN.
