And that in itself is disgusting to me and many United pilots.

You think they get it now? Finally?

Trump is anti union and believes that American wages are too high. He's all concerned about those A'mercan jobs. NAI is hiring pilots for US domiciles so...you get where i'm going with this right? Yes, we have to try but i'm not holding my breath on this one.

Anti union? I have yet to see any news on this claim... can you give some examples?

Most of Trumps domestic projects were built by union members. trump has a well Ducumented history of putting union members to work and earning a living.

If the hotel workers, DAL flight attendants, etc. don't vote to unionize that is their choice isn't it?

The way I see Trump and unions playing out is like fighting with your brother. Totally cool to get into a fist fight with your brother (US company vs US labor), but once some other kid tries to mess with your family (jobs going overseas), you forget about the last fight you had with him and let it be known you got his back. At least I hope this is how it plays out.

Guess what? We live in a capitalistic democratic society in which the average person makes $50k, dislikes unions and hates airlines even more and you think ALPA-PAC is ineffective. WRONG! We are outgunned and most pilots don't even like the fact that they are dependent upon their union for making a decent living.

But please let us know when you figure out your majic political solution. I for one am all ears and wait with unbridled anticipation for your cure for all that ails the piloting profession.
What gets old is listening to naive pilots "selling the PAC" as the answer. THere is no political solution, magic or otherwise. THats why the PAC isn't the answer. All solutions are market driven combined with appropriate and enforceable regulations that are enforced by people without an agenda.

The hidden agenda won the day for NAI. NAI out lobbied US pilots by appealing to the hidden agenda of the current administration.

Did you even go so far as to write/email/call your reps on NAI? Don't need to answer, it doesn't matter. Point is can you honestly say to yourself you tried? Facebook reposts don't count.
I wrote my congressional delegation and senators. Called the White House on numerous occasions.

We got out hustled by NAI who has less than a thousand pilots and who wrote zero letters or emails. It's like fighting a ghost. They aren't here, no picket signs, no presence, yet they won.

THat (sic) is too funny. The agenda is only hidden from those who are simply not reality based.

Ever heard of consumers? Despite what we would like to think pilots aren't the center of the universe.
