Default Virgin America Hiring Mins

I see that the Total time requirement to get hired is 7000. I have heard of people getting on with much less. My question is, is that 7000 set in stone or does it vary with applicant?
Any info would be great

I know of several guys and gals getting the interview with under that total mark in time . . . however they were not hired. I have not checked lately but for those of you who have interviewed recently how about posting your interview info. to help out other potentials. . .

OK...that didn't work out so well. They're saying the mins are now 5000 total hours, with 1000 PIC in turbine aircraft. It seems a little high compared to other airlines.

Ouch. I wonder how many hours they would want for Virgin Galactic?
