"The Owner
Hello, my name is Justin, and I am a Koolaider. Now that I've admitted it, I'll share my short story. I've always had a passion for aviation, ever since my dad took me flying when I was young. My dad, with his private pilot's license, inspired me to become a pilot as well. I am currently attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and will be graduating within the next year. In the spring of 2007 I had the chance to get a job at the local airport, Daytona Beach International Airport, working as a ramp agent for Delta. Before then I had never really favored one particular airline. After working for only a short time I realized that Delta was different from other airlines. It didn't take long for me to become a fan and that brings us to this website."
My recommendation to Justin...dump Embry-Riddle and enroll in a great medical school. Become a Dr. and fly for pleasure. Do not work for an airline, so far the sacrafice is not worth it.

Someone who is said to "Drink the Koolaid" is a person who believes management without question. They support the airline party line even to their own detriment. Justin is unaware of this. He says the origin of the word is unknown but somehow it stuck. Uh, maybe he did not want to do any research.
The genesis of "Drinking the Koolaid" is the Jonestown massacre of 1978. Read about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonestown
Jim Jone's followers drank the Koolaid, even though all around them people were dieing a painful death, just because he said so.
Do your homework Justin.
