Has anyone heard news about Pace's buyout going through? I thought yesterday was the day it was supposed to happened. Or maybe it was just RC spreading more rumors!

They'll let us know at the BBQ Talked with R.M. (older Boeing guy) he said they didn't give the training dept. enough time to get guys through the sim and recurrent, so a few of the instructors are going to do the first runs. I guess C.C. had live runs set up for either this week or next from MIA.

Whenever they announced that we've been bought in the past, they did it at a BBQ, and they've all fallen through. So the running gag is "When's the BBQ?"

It's been a while but it used to be ~33K the first year going up 1K or so for each year with the company. The captain pay was around 70K I think? Maybe it's a little better now?

It's still the same payscale that's been in effect for years. First year pay for F/O is 36.67 per hour. With a 75 hr gaurantee, that comes out to 33,000 per year.

1 737-300
5 737-200
1 757-200
2 767-200
Rumours of 2 more pax 767's

About 45ish pilots on the seniority list.
