Talking I actually shot some airplanes :) GA airport

Well, took a trip back to two of my most favorite airports ever, AeroFlex-Andover & Trinca (Grass strip). The smell of Avgas, the usual suspects hanging out exchanging war stories, it was great. Its funny, at the time I wished like hell to get out of them and fly an RJ, now I can't wait to leave the jet behind for good and get back to what I really love

First two are HDR

First time back to a general aviation airport since I went airlines, really nice to go back.

First two I did was HDR, the plane must have been sitting there for years, so I figured HDR would do it justice...........

It's sad that the airplane in the first pic is in such shape.

The HDR is overkill in my opinion, too melodramatic in the sense that art does not need to assert its own right to speak. Less is more, as some might say. Why say more than what is already there in an image; simply directing the viewer to the subject matter is enough work for the artist to be doing. But I like the GA theme for sure- and the overall technical aspect of this set is quite excellent. Thanks for sharing.

HDR might be overkill in general, however when tastefully done & not overcooked like the above, I think it looks pretty good, but too each their own

PS I tend to agree that many people take HDR and create ridiculously wretched images

In my opinion, all of the pictures, including the first one are spectacular. Only the second pic I think is a little over the top. Still a nice composition though!

PS, 3rd pic is frame worthy.

That 140 could benefit from a wash, to say the least. Great photos, Thanks for sharing.
