Pretty slick. I don't know anything about the program, does anyone know why they'd haul it around like that? It appears capable of sustained powered flight.

There flight testing to see how she'll ride before taking her to Edwards.

Yeah they are testing it's aerodynamics, not transporting it.

It's a UAV. Stealth, supposedly.

From what the tower guys said, it WAS transporting it. I spoke with STL Tower and they said that it was to go up for a test flight on the Saturday the 11th to see how the 74 handled with it on it's back, and then it'd be cleared to take it to Edwards two days later. All the plans got changed bc of weather. It wound up doing the practice flight on Monday the 13th and departed for Edwards the next day.

It was a cool sight to see that thing out on the ramp. I was in my TSA indoc class that day. Pretty sure I heard it roar over the traning building. It was definitely a "bigger" sound than what's usually departing.
