I'd guess going from the Airbus to a DC9 is a huge paradigm shift? Whenever I've jumpseated in 320s I feel like a dog watching tv, just can't quite figure out what everything means. The above picture on the other hand is comforting to me.

believe it or not it wasn't a big adjustment for me. I went from a glass RJ to the DC-9 and then to the Airbus so the bus was a piece of cake. Going from the RJ to the -9 was a leap but not hard by any means. Glass is just easier to look at but ultimately its all the same info but just in different forms. I'm going back to the -9 next month and i'm actually looking forward to it. I will miss the Air conditioning system on the bus though
