Not my photo...found it while browsing Airliners.net. Dozens of bird impacts caught in the moment. Pieces of bird and blood everywhere.

Better than being eaten by a cat. I saw the side profile a few days ago but this is the first picture I've seen of the a/c on the ground following the strikes. Wow!

I wonder if the pilot who was outside saw the birds coming....probably nothing you could do anyways. Chop 'em up.

I have never hit a bird, so how did this crew know that they hit some birds. In addition, it looks like the engine is still running which I would of thought to shut it down if there was indicators stating something wrong of course.

Probably from the dozens of passengers who would have been able to witness the birds exploding against the airplane.
