Thanks for posting these!

I remember the year that the Thunderbirds started flying the T38 after visiting in the F4 the year before. That brings back memories from my mis-spent youth!

Wow, there are more people hanging around the RC-12D in the last photo than the F-16 in the first. I'm shocked. I will say laying out under the C-12's wing is a good way to stay cool on a hot day when stuck out on the Ramp.

Thanks for giving the Army some love.

That is where they were selling the beer

Covsting - I hope you enjoyed Fat Albert's JATO takeoff. Did they mention at the show that this would be the last show season? I loved the picture of the diamond over the flag.

Yeah that was a really sweet take off. I just checked the blue angles website and it looks like they have 3 shows left for the year. They will be in Houston next weekend.

USMC, you ever get to ride along in Fat Albert during a demo? Lots of videos on youtube of people riding in back and getting some air time at the peak of the zoom-climb. Pretty funny stuff going on inside that plane.

Nah...never tried to get a ride in Fat Albert. Lots of our Maintenance people have scored a ride though. I did get a backseat Blues ride back in 2000 though. It was a good time. I could definitely do that job for about 6 months and then I'd be tired - plus I tend to shy away from the publicity/limelight
