We finally got it inside to work on for the winter. I'm not having to freeze my fingers off any more trying to degrease the cockpit for paint prep, removing panels and rusted hardware, and a lot of other grunt work, but I love it. Aside from my flying career, I'd love to get in as a warbird pilot. We are trying to find a current active Marine Corps Squadron that used to operate the TBM, and use the markings at the time to paint this one as that squadron, which is hard for this army guy.
