I hate to say it, but each and every seniority number that's above you can mean tons of money over the course of your career. I understand that you are working at the Guard, and that you really have no interest in being based in either ANC or any of the foreign domiciles, but ANC might have been the better move, considering the long term implications of this industry, and where you fit within it.
