No doubt they will still be in place.

However, crying "economic foul", this late in the game won't work... "IF" they do furlough it will not be of the economy. It will be because of management ineptitude...Proving that they aren't up to the task. (of course they will use the current Union vs. Management issues as their excuse)

Also, this "great young EMT team" as Sokol and Dichter used to say... Will look pretty foolish. Along with Hansell and his recent Columbus Dispatch article with his 80 shares sold and 250+ Marquis cards sold rhetoric...

Furloughs are never off the table, but the more time and "talk about how great things are" that passes the more retarded the EMT will look "if" they do furlough.

Buffett and his companies are very closely followed by many people. When even one falters, (especially one as closely tied to Dip$hit Sokol) it is a black eye on Buffett. He may not really care about NJA, and it's very minute income, but I think he's still feeling the sting from last Spring..... How many times has he given interviews on CNBC since the Sokol incident.

I'm looking at Netjets as a "what would I do/think if I were in charge" mindset... (not that I have the stalent or desire to ever be in that position).

Olsen just got a good jab in on Aviation Weekly. The whole article basically blasts the current EMT. (no doubt heavily influenced by the people they chose to interview.). But I don't see some of what he says as happening. (200 a/c? Really? shrink to the size of the competition?)

Buffett may really want a permanently smaller NJA, if that's the case then furloughs will obviously happen, but then NJA will be nothing more than an joke anyways. Another "commuter" pilot factory on the way to something better.
