I will say it again, "lets look at a bid packet for all fleets under the new rules." before we screw commuters.....last time i checked the majority of UPS pilots commute.....

I hear what you are saying, but what a mixed message that would send ...

Think of it in these terms:

Union Message ... We want to be included in these new regulations that are designed to reduced fatigue levels and increase overall safety ... as long as we can keep our existing commutable schedules.

Cargo managements, UPS in particular, could spin that against us in more ways than I can imagine.
