Having unmanned cargo ship across the pacific would not pay....those vessels cost a lot of money and generate more profit then the average flight. They run a skeleton crew that require no hotels and not so hard and fast duty times.

Plus ocean conditions are way less predictable. Up to 2 weeks at sea sometimes. A single flight to Asia, 10 to 12 hours has a lot less issues then a boat at sea.

When the first one shows up on property it would be wise to medical out somehow.........
