Bottom Line when bidding a reserve line and having vacation that month. Is there any need to actually have the vacation footprint(i.e. the 7 day block plus or minus 5) touch any part of the R Days. Based upon reading here it doesn't matter where the R days are on the schedule, correct?
I plan to use my 7 days, extend to 10 days and then hope the remaining 5 days are somewhere palatable.
It still may be important to you where those V days are located - it may impact leveling, and you can't pick up any flying on V days, so if there is a chance you want to, it may be important to you where you actually locate those days via slide.
