[QUOTE=Timbo;1192818]Just like we have our group (ALPA), and we talk to other ALPA pilots about what we at DL are going to negotiate for, so do the Airline CEO's. It used to be called the ATA, Air Transport Assn. They just changed the name to Airlines For America. (A4A) About A4A

I think it was last year, or the year before, our own Richard Anderson was the President.

You don't suppose all those CEO's talk to each other about negotiating strategy at their meetings?

I'll bet you a tall latte that Jeff Smisek knew exactly what our T/A was going to be a couple months ago, if not longer.

Oh, and A4A is of course an "Industry Lobby Group". They pay the boys in Congress at least $10X the dollars our ALPA PAC does, why do you think no pilot group has been released to self help, in how many years?

Here's the A4A BOD, even Horton from AA is on it;

If you think A4A is bad, Google the "Airline Industrial Relations Conference". That will get your attention.
