For those of you with the 26', will the airline staff "allow" you to carry it on? I airline a lot for work now, and hate checking a bag. The 26' would work better for the 16-20 days on the road, but if I can't carry it on (non uniform, revenue ticket) it isn't worth the extra few inches.
