Yes it is possible for it to happen in your twenties. In response to getting ME time there are many different ways, some faster than others. For instance, I am planning on attending ERAU and getting my ratings as fast as possible and hopefull instructing by my junior year and then hopefully instructing ME in my senior year (and since ERAU is now 142 there are a lot more students flying the seminoles which means there is a need for more MEIs). Hopefully with this I will have enough ME and TT to get on with a regional. I imagine that if you want to go directly to Alaska it would take some time. Have you thought about getting on with Horizon and building time with them? Their requirements are lower and you could build hours faster that way.
