After seeing this post I decided to ask people that the only thing they know about the airline industry is how to be a customer. I showed them the pic of the uniform and they just started laughing!! When I asked them why they are laughing they said it looks ridiculous, it’s so unprofessional. Ok, I know that there are posts here about how were not professionals anymore but if you ask me and alot of other people that entrust us with their lives and their family’s lives expect us to be professionals and looking professional is part of it. I was in the military for 9 years and there wasn’t a day that I didn’t try to make my uniform look like I didn’t just pull it out of the duffle bag. Also, pilots are in charge of the aircraft and everyone aboard and we have to make serious decisions and in some cases have to kick people off the plane. How in the world are people going to take us seriously when we look like this?!?! I know that change is good and that’s what VX is trying to do so I’m not knocking that, just doesn’t seem that they were thinking when these were introduced. I just take pride in all my professions and I always try to look professional whenever I put on my uniform.
