Sound advice from Johnburke, again.

Oddly enough,

Two jobs have been posted recently on climbto350 that I have personally found to be BS. The first was everts air. Following the link from climbto350 to their website to their jobs page, I was quick to note that they tell applicants that they constantly update their website, and that jobs not posted were filled. Strike 1. There was no pilot hiring! I sent in an email asking when the last time they needed a pilot was, and they claimed they hadn't had a need or advertise for one for a long time.

Strike 2: My corporate job took me through Portland, OR, via aero air at hillsboro. While hanging out in the pilot lounge, I found myself talking to their chief med pilot, who I asked about recent postings (recent repeat postings) on climbto350, and he again said that they hadn't needed a turboprop pilot in a long time and wouldn't be needing one.

I'm sure people have gotten jobs off the website and that there are legit jobs, but I'll go ahead and say it's very dishonest to post jobs that don't exist to inflate your website.

Surely my lack of getting calls back is partly because I only have 1,500 hours and ZERO turbine time, but as someone without experience that has to spend all this time looking for the next step, I really don't appreciate climbto350 wasting hours of my day sending resumes into black holes.
