Charlie Mohrle - WWII P-47 Pilot
Rest in peace, Charlie.
I had the very good fortune of being able to see, hear, and speak to Mr. Mohrle a few months ago at Love Field's Frontiers of Flight Museum. I'm extremely grateful to have been able to meet the man in person and listen to him tell the tales of what it was like to fly back in the day.
For those of you who never met Charlie, someone was clever enough to sit down with him and record the story he told time and time again.
