I don't think there will be a shortage but there's going to be a steady hiring indefinitely when age 65 is up. I don't know how accurate those retirement numbers are but they are massive compared to what we've seen in the past. I'm just wondering what's going to happen when regional management tell the mainline partners, we can't find anymore pilots! The 1500 hour mins have been unofficially in effect for regional applicants and people have shown up but that won't last much longer unless there's an incentive.
