The title should read "EMT - Pay and quality of life still better than a regional pilot " Can't dispute that title. Being an EMT is only a means to an end. It's a prerequisite/training for a much better job. I could write an article about the life of a regional pilot, low comp, crash pads, destroys families, furloughs, blah blah blah but, they're already out there so I'm not going to waste my time. I know of 2 pilots who are currently on food stamps, divorced and haven't seen a holiday off in over a decade. The look on their faces when they actually see their own home is unbelievable. Try again... Rant over.
