Step 1 is basically a meet and greet but I would be prepared for anything.

Step 2 is a drug tested that same day or asked to come back for that at a later date.

Step 3 will be the long application with the usual PRIA and Background Check information.

(note: steps 2 and 3 may happen in any order at any time)

Step 4: simulator evaluation if deemed necessary, it has been skipped for some of the exceptionally qualified candidates, otherwise it will be in the BE-1900 sim in LGA, not looking for perfection just good basic attitude instrument flying and good CRM and SOP/checklists (doesn't matter what SOP's you use but chances are if you are interviewing you have at least some good amount of turboprop time, use what you know) Approach plates and checklist will be provided as well as basic profiles and speeds/power settings, again, what we are looking for is good basic airmanship and situational awareness, be prepared for anything you might get on a 135 checkride.

Step 5: if selected, you will be given a class date so if you interview make sure you are very explicit as to when you can start, training is 2 weeks for initial type rating in ICT or ATL with FlightSafety, you are paid full salary from the day you fly to to training, medical is fully covered for you and family (for now), per diem is currently $59/day and you will most likely get a choice of hotel to use.

Step 6: Before/during/after initial you will be given access to our online Indoc course, it is a lot of material so I recommend getting started on that ASAP.

Step 7: After initial you will come to BDR for the remainder of company Indoc and training which is 2-3 days.

Step 8: Go fly ... currently an ad hoc schedule, will be working towards a 6/3 and may change in the future as more airplanes are added and staffing increases. PIC's can expect line checks with the FAA for now, although from current numbers in training there probably won't be any PIC slots until early next year if deliveries go as expected.

For now the company would prefer you live within 2 hours of the NY/CT area although others have been hired who live farther.

I'd be happy to answer any other questions you have.
I got an email from Gama's HR asking if I'd be able to make an interview next week and I replied but never heard anything further from that. Do you think you could help me out there?
