I believe that Avenge also pays an hourly rate based on how many hours you flew. So your in-country pay would be a combination of the daily rate + the hourly rate.
Do not quote me on this as I do not work for Avenge. Am just passing on what an Avenge pilot once told me.
Unfortunately as Afghanistan draws down, these jobs that have been so good to so many people for such a long time are disappearing.
