I did a masters in administration through CMU. When time permitted, I took classes at the local "extension" campus and when not, I would take online.

If you are remotely military they give a discount.

The quality of instruction is what you would expect from former practitioners teaching and not academics teaching, but I came away very happy.

My second masters in military history was academics teaching and it gave me a more philosophical view that synchronized with my personality. Much more wholistic and I think positioned me for terminal study and eventually a dissertaion.

Whatever you do, it is admirable that you are trying to improve yourself academically. Please send me a note if you have specific questions.
