ATP can already take a PPL to CFI in 90 days. Three months for the PPL and three months as a CFI and you could go from zero to 500 hour CFI in a year.

I disagree with the idea that 200 hours total, more than half of that in a sim, qualifies you to be an airline pilot. But I'm sure that's how it's gonna be in some places.

Anyhow, like I always say, glad it's never gonna be my problem...
