The best spellers and perfectionist in expressing themselves in words are usually behind a desk or in some other position and have no knowledge in flying a jet in extreme conditions. There are exemptions to the rule....but not many.
Next time you apply to a job are you going to proof-read your resume or will you just assume that your potential employer knows you are professional enough to do it but just didn't have time?
