Hi guys,
Any suggestions on who to use for a tailwheel endorsement in central CT? I got my PPL 3 years ago, IFR past summer, and now at 225 hours, looking to build some time & then get my commercial/CFI and teach part time (day job is engineering, but still considering pro pilot career, which is a different topic!).
Our local spin-endorsement guy at KHFD is Joe Gauthier (
www.flythecub.com), but his cub has had some registration issues for a while. I've seen a decathlon at AD-UP Aviation at KBAF, and a cub at KSNC.
Everything I've read says that tailwheel time is great for improving stick and rudder skills. I haven't had anything but 172 time (and a few hrs 150), so the variety will be nice.
