2. Madison, Wisconsin. The hotel is right beside the capitol building. Plenty of food and bars within a short walk, and if you are ever there on a saturday morning, the farmers market just outside the hotel that wraps all the way around the capitol building is a must visit. Right in the middle of Badgertown, University of Wisconsin (like or hate, it is a fun place to be).
In Memphis be sure to check out Rendezvous BBQ. If you go west from the ballpark it is the next alley just pass Walgreens. Make a right and it's to your left about a hundred feet down the alley. Try the pork shoulder or the dry rub ribs.
