Reminds me of a friend of mine when he was flying a brand new MD88 into Austin. They made it to the layover hotel just in time for happy hour prices and free Mexican food, when the bar tender leans in and asks, "Are you guys with Delta?"
Him, "Yeah, why?"
Bartender hands him the phone with the station manager on the other end, "Would you guys please come back out here and shut off this engine?"
Nobody in Austin had ever seen a MD 88 before and didn't know how to shut down an engine! So my bud has to gulp down his beer, get in a cab back to the airport, and go shut it off!
