I'm curious as to who made this statement? Maybe I didn't notice it on this thread? At any rate, I agree with you that it's idiotic.

Bottom line is...I got hired at Delta (in 2000), and at UPS (in 2007) with a majority of my PIC time in a C-130. Nobody had a problem with it then, and I'm sure that nobody at UPS has a problem with it now.

All of my "pure" jet time (B727, 757/767, MD88/90, 747-400) in the Part 121 world has been as a FO. I didn't have any problems transitioning to these aircraft, and I'm sure the same would hold true for most any Herk driver out there.
