FlyBoy - that was not cool what they did to you. I'm a past USAF pilot and instructor and flew many years over seas as a 747-400 pilot. I'm now instructing 737's for a part 142 school house and there is such a small difference between the ATP and type that most of our guys that are getting both literally just have to do a stall series a bit more on the oral about ATP related topics. Same price as the guys taking the type - that already have the ATP.
