Current first year Captain pay is 15.70/hr. That comes with a 40 hour minimum guarantee which is $32,656 as a minimum. The lines with more overtime top out around $43,000 first year. That excludes transition pay (Up to $250 - $3,000 per move based on distance available 2 times per year) and incentive pay for pilots working other than their normal days.
The company is short pilots so if you're willing to work extra, you can pick up as much as an extra $300 per day in the busy Summer and Winter seasons. It all adds up quickly.
