You're right - no guarantee whatsoever. That said, your scenario is possible, but not probable. What voting NO does do is allow us the CHANCE and the OPPORTUNITY to improve the contract and do it sooner. If we vote YES, not only are we screwed for the next 5-10 years, it will only be that much harder to gain back any of the work rules and QOL issues for which we lost and look forward to gaining in the future.

But yes - you are right, there is no guarantee......just as in life.
