The votes of both East and West were irrelevant due solely to USAPA's decision to choose to prolong their do-nothing strategy over building unity. If every LUS pilot had voted NO, we would be exactly where we are today. If USAPA had never been allowed to see the light of day, we would be integrating AA into the US pilot group under a far superior contract than LOA93.
The responsibility for all this angst on the east lies squarely at their own doorstep.
