My home state requires a car inspection every year and an emission test every two years.
However, my
County Personal Property Tax form has a box to check for
"Garaged Out of State."
Over the past 15 years I've had 3 different airport cars in MEM (registered in my home state) that never received the state mandated inspections. I recently drove one of them home. The next week I took it for the required inspections ... no problem.
Are you sure this is a problem for you?
