AAG can hire who they want, but CANNOT assign AA seniority numbers to pilots not represented by APA. That was why it required APA agreement to form the first original flow through to AA known as Letter 3 at Eagle and Supplement W at AA which gave AA seniority numbers and rights prior to being represented by APA. That identical agreement language was part of both pilot groups contracts and required agreement by all sides. Unless Parker wants to pony up something to APA/AA pilots, that's the only way and poor Ryan or anyone else is in fantasyland if they think something else (which he apparently does and therefore is).
