As I consider which regionals to apply to, base locations are about at the top of my list for my choosing criteria, and the LAX base existing and being junior is the #1 reason for me to look at Compass (my focus is to keep commuting as short to non-existent as possible). Knowing how regional bases come and go with the changing winds makes me nervous to roll the dice like that.
