Current 76-seat fleet is 193. C2012 allows 223 so a 30 hull difference. C2015 allows 248, so they could with C2015 grow the 76-seat fleet by 55 jets.

They could probably get a great deal on E-175s if they order some new E-190s. So as airplanes roll out of San Jose Dos Campos you could, given where we are today, have 1 for us and 1 for them, 1 for us and 1 for them and repeat till you hit 55 each.

Smart of Delta to have held off on the remaining 30 76-seaters and wait until they got a good deal from Embraer (E175 and E190) and Bombardier (CR9 + CSeries).

They don't want the 50-seaters. Just like UPS might not want old trucks and Norfolk Southern might not want old locomotives. As they get old they need to be replaced and we've fallen for this notion that as they do that we should give something up, like the scope you lamented about from 9/11.

Delta has no interest in the CS thanks to the price. I was told that recently when I first heard about our pending E190s.

The E190s were already on our side of the fence. No need to fight for them, if Delta wanted them they could order them.

Better yet, so in order for Delta, which is headed to a PTIX of $6B, to order 20 E190s we have to give up 25 CR9s? The deal with C2012 was they said no 717s unless we allow more CR9s, but somehow we're supposed to believe with these profits they can't order more E190s without ordering CR9s? We've lost our collective minds if we think that's the case.

I rarely call in sick. I think I'm up to 12 days in 8 years now. But this is a concession.
