Absolutely. Come single, live like an RJ FO, and you will save money. Buy a nice car, live in the pearl, spend a little $ on stupid stuff like european watches and now you're saving much less scratch than you ought to be.
Speaking as a single guy, my QOL would be better in FL on $50K a year. Live near the water, drive a muscle car, and plenty of sun and scenery around, and on the cheap too. Oh, and you won't be living in a third world country? Nor would you be reading NOTAMs like "Flight below FL260 prohibited in Iraq/Libya/Modagishu FIR/etc due to the risk posed by dedicated anti-aircraft weaponry."
