You are right but it is a pilots market now in the regionals. You can go anywhere and Endeavor can't be the only place with a NYC base. In that case Commutair would be an option. But you are correct in the end it's always the individuals choice and preferences. Some places are obviously better to go to than others. I would caution though anyone wanting NYC as a base for a DCI regional. History shows Delta killed Freedom and Comair out of NYC. Just because this base exists now doesn't mean it will tomorrow. But to each his own I suppose.
