Reserve time and holding TYS is now (and should remain) faster out of TYS or DAY by several months. The unknown quantity that we are all holding our breath on is how CVG is going to change things. When the CVG base bid posts I suspect we will have a better idea and the picture will be much clearer next month at his time when the January bid process gets going.

Ultimately, the ability to hold any base and a line in relatively short time as an FO is the reason I am here. The FO numbers have increased over the last few classes and I have heard (rumor mill) that classes will remain relatively small through the holidays and then ramp up in January. All good news (especially for someone coming in on the front of the hiring) on the "hold any base and sit minimal reserve" front all of which is supported by PSAs desire to hire a ton of pilots over the next two years.
