Everyone has a dude like that if not a few at their company. Flew with a guy that when turbulence would drive the speed up to 254 below 10,0 in the climb he would proceed to turn the autopilot off for an agressive pitch up to correct the horrendous 4kt deviation. Completely out of touch with common sense. They grind your will to live to a pulp. Sympathies.
And you know what....if you (Captain) want to fly the plane, then here you go ** your controls. I will try and not screw up the radio thingy over here. There is no way that I would ever put up with that from a Captain.
