I would only caution that it is more important where you choose to be a CFI, not where you were able to save the money on the rating. Pay, hours flown, equipment, working conditions, flyable days etc are all things to take into consideration.

You will pay anywhere from 50-100k for your flight ratings, a few thousand for a CFI is not something to take a less than desirable job over.
