But this is interesting given that there has continued to be talk about Amazon wanting another 20 freighters from a third vendor, of which Connie was presumed to be the logical one. On the other hand, lots of folks are trying to fly 767s and 737s for DHL, so it may be nothing new. And it's hard to imagine NAC having the management and operational depth to handle a that-significantly-sized 7-day-per-week track-charter-type operation.
It's not as far fetched as you might imagine. ABX has been flying 767's for Aloha. Aloha's CBA says their pilots have to fly a new type after two years. Two years is close. Their crew costs are relatively low. Aloha and NAC are owned by Saltchuk. Who knows how deep their pockets are? I think they're closely held.

The one thing I know is their CEO David Karp is very smart and persistent. (We went to the same Northern school of hard knocks!)
