Unfortunately, around here, that's not how things work. The majority of people around here only vote for what's in their personal best interest. And that mentality was pushed by the union. Numerous officers of FDX ALPA stating "read the TA & decide if it is what is best for you & your family." No mention of the other 47xx guys/gals the agreements will affect. No wonder the company is so good at divide & conquer, we basically do it for them. This is one of my greatest concerns when we deal with the company in negotiations. An agreement outside of section 6 is NO different as far as I'm concerned.
